Privacy Policy for TapTapCount

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TapTapCount handles information when you use the app.

Overview

TapTapCount does not require an account and does not send your counter data to me. The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.

Counter Data

TapTapCount saves counter values, step amounts, and the selected counter in the app's storage on your device. The Apple Watch companion keeps its own counter data on the Watch. The iPhone, iPad, and Watch counters are stored separately and do not sync with one another.

On iPhone and iPad, the app stores its counter file in the app's Documents folder. Apple may include this data in device backups, depending on your backup settings and Apple's backup services. Apple handles backup data under its own terms and privacy policy.

Review Prompts

TapTapCount stores a first-use date, app launch count, and review-prompt preferences on your device to decide when to request an App Store review. It uses Apple's StoreKit review prompt. Your review, if you submit one, is handled by Apple. TapTapCount does not receive your review through this feature.
